Some distinctive processing techniques applied in Shengli Oilfield western exploration area

Abstract:The western exploration part of the Shengli Oilfield is located in 11 basins,West China.These work areas cover very tough surface such as mountain,deserts,Gobi,highlands,and loess zones.Both their near-surface and subsurface are very complicated.The seismic data acquisition in these areas is very difficult.The data acquired suffers low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and serious statics.We choose some distinctive processing techniques provided by GeoEast System to process the data such as 4D denoising,residual static correction,surface-consistent deconvolution,and zero-phase deconvolution.Data SNR is much improved and statics are better corrected than with other processing methods.
